With over 15 years of experience in the education and social care field, I have dedicated my career to advocating for young people and enhancing their well-being.
My journey includes hands-on experience working directly with young people in residential settings as well as within the education sector, alongside conducting thorough inspections of children’s homes. This unique background allows me to understand the challenges faced by both care providers and the young people they serve.
I am committed to promoting a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for every child. Through our services, we aim to elevate standards and foster positive outcomes in children’s care.

Regulation 44 Visitors
All residential Children’s homes (0 – 18) are required to have an independent inspection at least once a month. These visits can last between 2.5 – 4 hours and consists of interviews with the young people, management team and staff.
Checks are carried out on all areas of the home relating to safeguarding and promoting the young people’s well-being. The purpose of these visits are to support with the development of the home and to provide advice and support, highlighting areas of improvement as well as systems that are working well in protecting children and young people from harm.

Our services are designed to support children’s homes in achieving and maintaining high standards, empowering them to create a positive, supportive environment for every young person in their care.
Regulation 44 Services
These take place each calendar month. The visit will consist of announced and unannounced visits. The initial visit is always with the registered manager who will be informed prior to the visit taking place.
Supervision
We offer independent supervision for responsible individuals and registered managers , providing support and advice in management oversight and leadership skills.
Training
We provide a range of training services to support the development of your home. This includes Level 3 training in safeguarding, as well as bespoke training tailored to support your staff in essential skills for residential support work, such as completing risk and care assessments.
Home Assessment Checks
If you are thinking about leasing or buying a property for the purpose of starting a residential children home, we can complete a thorough assement which includes a locality risk assessment to ensure it meets the regulations for a residential care home.
